The Doral-On-The-Ocean opened in 1963 on the famous Millionaires Row, on Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida. Also known as the Doral Beach Hotel, it was named for its founder and his wife, DORis and AL Kaskel. It was long considered the most elegant and luxurious hotel in the area.   Doral is a city located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. Situated just northwest of Miami International Airport, the City takes its name from the Doral Golf Resort & Spa located within its municipal boundaries. As of 2013 the U.S. Census Bureau estimated Dorals population at 50,213.
